Mentoring doesn't just mean that you conduct a bible study with your students and meet with them from time to time, but it means to live life with them and grow in Jesus Christ together.  Mentoring, is not a small sacrifice. It takes time, money, patience, sacrifice, but most of all God's heart to love the students.

 

One cannot give what they don't have, so we prioritize the spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical well being of all of our mentors. And we believe that the mentoring experience teaches the mentor maybe even more than what they pour out onto their students. Mentors and students push each other to walk deeper into their faith, and grow into a mature son/daughter of Christ. God has been so faithful to BYG in our "operation of love" and we will continue to pursue after his presence and glory until it is all said and done.
